This ambassador must be slain--his mission a failure in the eyes of the Lich King.\n\nHis presence there does explain much of what we've discovered about the area--some of the quilboar have grown frightfully powerful while showing signs of the Plague in their own way. Truly that must be a sign of some sort of deal they've struck.\n\nFind Malcin and slay him, <player>. Return to me after the deed is done.","objectivesText":"Bring Ambassador Malcin's Head to Varimathras in the Undercity.","progressText":"Have you found the Ambassador, <player>? Is he dead?\n\nWe cannot afford to allow the Scourge to take a foothold on Kalimdor. They are enough of a threat to our own borders to have to deal with them on two fronts.\n\nThe only optimistic sign from the events you've told me about is that the crone seemed uncorrupted. She must know deep in her spirit that the Scourge may bring great power, but that the Barrens would not truly be hers if she were to agree to their deal.","completionText":"Good. Well done, <class>.\n\nNow that Malcin is dead, we can at least know that the Scourges advances will be halted. The Dark Lady thanks you for your efforts and wishes to reward you with a gift.\n\nAlthough we do not know the extent of the Scourges influence within the Downs, I am sure we will discover their plots soon enough.","endText":"","starters":[{"type":"npc","id":2425,"name":"Varimathras","url":"/npc/2425/"}],"finishers":[{"type":"npc","id":2425,"name":"Varimathras","url":"/npc/2425/"}],"targets":[],"requiredItems":[{"type":"item","id":17009,"name":"Ambassador Malcin's Head","url":"/item/17009/","count":1,"role":"Required item"}],"sourceItems":[],"rewards":[],"choiceRewards":[{"type":"item","id":17039,"name":"Skullbreaker","url":"/item/17039/","count":1,"role":"Choice reward"},{"type":"item","id":17042,"name":"Nail Spitter","url":"/item/17042/","count":1,"role":"Choice reward"},{"type":"item","id":17043,"name":"Zealot's Robe","url":"/item/17043/","count":1,"role":"Choice reward"}],"related":[{"type":"quest","id":6522,"name":"An Unholy Alliance","url":"/quest/6522/","role":"Previous quest","sourceField":"PrevQuestId","signedId":6522}],"moneyCopper":2000,"maxLevelMoneyCopper":3150,"rewardSpellId":0,"rewardCastSpellId":0,"status":"classic_baseline_unverified","sourceCommit":"ec4f596146be6467ea93c57397858e329e2db852"}
